Spring FCS Regional Meeting Notice:
The Spring FCS Regional Meetings at all locations have been cancelled for this year. In place of face-to-face meetings there will be a number of Elluminate sessions (online web session) that will make up the Professional Development contact hours. Contact hours will be available at the end of each session. Topics for these sessions will include curriculum implementation in the new FCS courses, obesity, relationships, financial literacy, food safety, character, consumerism and new state guidelines. As the details for theses sessions are confirmed information on how to access the presentation will be found the ODE Professional Development Calendar and on the OATFACS website (www.oatfacs.org). Topics will be aligned with the new courses that can be viewed live or will be archived for use at a later date. I apologize for the late notice of the Professional Development change but feel that the presenters and topics that will be presented will give you a wealth of information to incorporate into your new courses.
