2021 Ohio ACTE Annual Conference - July 26-28
Ohio Career Technical Education:
Innovation and Impact Conference
All events will take place at the Hilton Easton Columbus*
*The Ohio ACTE Conference Planning Committee is anticipating an in-person conference, but only if health and safety guidelines permit large gatherings/conferences and they can be conducted safely.
Presentation Proposal Deadline: February 15
This year's Conference is taking a new direction and will focus on Innovation and Impact. The Conference Planning Committee is especially looking for presentations that focus on new and improved career-technical education practices as a result of the pandemic - those changes that schools will continue to use in the future, innovative ways of implementing specific career-technical programming, such as work based learning, middle school career exploration and equity and access, just to name a few. Highlight your school and programs!
Schedule: Breakout sessions will be scheduled throughout the conference timeframe, so be sure you are available for all conference days. Session times are assigned based on providing a variety of session topics during each time period. Presenters will be notified of their day/time in advance of the conference. Session breakout/meeting rooms will be assigned 1-2 weeks before the conference. Ohio ACTE may change the date or time of a presentation because of unforeseen scheduling changes, but presenters will be notified immediately of any changes, which will be within the pre-determined session schedule times.
