Who We Are: We are a cornerstone of leadership and collaboration in career and technical education administration, driving positive change and innovation for the advancement of CTE across Ohio. The Ohio Career Technical Administrators (OCTA) is committed to partnering with the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) Career-Technical Education staff to shape and implement policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of Career-Technical Education (CTE) in Ohio. Through close collaboration with key stakeholders including the director of ODE CTE, Ohio Association of Career-Technical Superintendents, Ohio Association of Comprehensive and and Compact Schools (Ohio CCS), and other related organizations, we strive to advocate for favorable CTE legislation and promote a supportive environment for CTE programs statewide. Additionally, we are dedicated to providing meaningful professional development opportunities for CTE Administrators, fostering their growth and effectiveness as leaders in the field. By serving as a unifying force for all CTE programs, irrespective of organizational structure, we aim to amplify the collective efforts towards achieving excellence and equity in CTE across Ohio.
