The Ohio ACTE Work-Based Learning Division, dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment, focuses on creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for students. By collaborating with industry partners, employers, and educators, we strive to develop and implement high-quality work-based learning programs that enhance career readiness and skill development. Our division is committed to providing students with opportunities for internships, apprenticeships, and real-world projects that align with their career interests and academic goals. Through these immersive experiences, we aim to prepare students for successful careers and lifelong learning. Additionally, we advocate for policies and initiatives that support the growth and sustainability of work-based learning, ensuring equitable access for all students to gain practical, industry-relevant experience.
