Who We Are
The Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education is the only state-wide, professional organization for all career-technical and adult educators and supporters. Members include career-technical and adult educators in all parts of the state of Ohio and are teachers, instructors, administrators, directors and superintendents. Together, association members work to provide exceptional instruction for students who want to get a head start on their career and enter the workforce with skills and knowledge that are in demand.
Our Mission
Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education promotes generations of next-ready individuals – whether they will be seeking employment, enlistment, or further education. Through a forward-looking scope, our organization serves as a proponent for specialized education to Ohio high school students that equips them with cross-cutting skills designed for versatility in the transitional phases of life, work, and education. The CTE experience introduces 15 advanced career fields for students to progressively learn, train, and succeed in their respective pathways.
As advocators of this mission, Ohio ACTE believes in fostering a dynamic educational environment that embraces innovation and excellence. We aim to empower administrators, educators, and superintendents alike, with the information, representation, and resources necessary to elevate opportunities available to students of all backgrounds and abilities.
